The 1951 raised therapy form of Ear Acupuncture is attributed to the French physisian Dr. Paul Nogier (1908-1996).

For each part of the body and each organ there is a reflex point in the ear. For a coarse relation one can imagine the ear as an upsidedown embryo. The stimulation of the corresponding point in the ear leads to distribution of pain relieving substances like “Serotonin“ and in the body built morphine. Also treated can be addictions (nicotine, alcohol, eating disorder).

For treatment special needles are put into the reflex points. The patient shall be calm and relaxed both during and after treatment. As a rule a therapy exists of 10-15 treatments of 20 min. each.
